MrBeast surprises stunned fans at Comic-Con with futuristic hologram prank - The Mirror US
MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, couldn't make it to Comic-Con this year, so he sent a hologram of himself instead.
As part of the promotion for his MrBeast Lab range of toys and collectibles, the famous YouTuber used futuristic holographic technology to prank fans who stopped by the Moose Toys stand at San Diego Comic-Con, as well giving away $10,000 to one lucky fan every day of the convention.
MrBeast, who is known for his elaborate pranks and lavish giveaways, has been steadily building his business portfolio as an entrepreneur despite finding himself in hot water recently for his controversial collaborations.

The MrBeast Lab line of toys includes a large range of small-scale figurines, like "swarms" and "mutators," as well as collectible vinyl and action figures.
Comic-Con attendees couldn't believe their eyes. Fans were stunned by the gimmick, pulling out their phones to get a snap of the realistic hologram version of the YouTube star at the Moose Toys stand.
MrBeast, who was actually "in the middle of nowhere filming a video," achieved the effect with the help of HYPERVSN Holographic Human solution, a rotating four-ray LED-based display that rotates faster than the eye can see, leaving only 3D holographic content floating in mid-air.
He made jokes with fans, poking fun by saying things like, "I'm sorry I can't sign your shirt because I'm a hologram," or, "I just arrived at Comic-Con and I am behind you!," and "Why are you staring at me? You're making this awkward."
While the hologram was a clever way for MrBeast to be at the convention without actually having to be there, some fans found the timing in poor taste, as he was accused of working with a registered sex offender around the same time he was unveiling his new line of toys marketed toward young children.
